Bedingungslose Gefolgschaft ist falsches Signal

27. Juli 2009

Murdoch: A Cultural Chernobyl

By John Pilger

In 1995, Murdoch flew Tony and Cherie Blair first-class to Hayman Island, Australia, where the aspiring war criminal spoke about "the need for a new moral purpose in politics", which included the lifting of government regulations on the media. Murdoch shook his hand warmly. The next day the Sun commented: "Mr Blair has vision, he has purpose and he speaks our language on morality and family life.

Electromagnetic wave levels disputed

By Meggie Lu

Tuesday, Jul 28, 2009

Representatives of environmental groups gathered in front of the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) yesterday to urge the government to lower electromagnetic wave safety standards to a maximum of 1 milli-Gauss (mG).

The agency is considering lowering electromagnetic wave safety standards by 10 percent for “sensitive regions” such as schools, hospitals and residential areas, but the activists said that was not enough.

Vaccine May Be More Dangerous Than Swine Flu

Tuesday, July 7, 2009 9:54 AM

By: Dr. Russell Blaylock

An outbreak of swine flu occurred in Mexico this spring that eventually affected 4,910 Mexican citizens and resulted in 85 deaths. By the time it spread to the United States, the virus caused only mild cases of flu-like illness.

Thanks to air travel and the failure of public health officials to control travel from Mexico, the virus spread worldwide. Despite predictions of massive numbers of deaths and the arrival of doomsday, the virus has remained a relatively mild disease, something we know happens each year with flu epidemics.

Profiting from the overhyped pandemic, the pigs feed at the trough while millions will be exposed to an untested vaccine which contains an ingredient linked to debilitating diseases

Paul Joseph Watson
Monday, July 27, 2009

Many people seem genuinely baffled that western governments are hyping the arrival of a swine flu pandemic as if it’s the greatest threat to humanity since the bubonic plague, despite the relatively low number of deaths from the virus, unaware that the pharmaceutical industry has been intimately joined at the hip with the state for decades.

Why Are US-Allied Refugees Still Branded as "Terrorists?"

Marisa Taylor, McClatchy Newspapers: "Almost every day for three years, prison guards at one of Saddam Hussein's most notorious prisons tortured Sami Alkarim. Now, in a cruel twist of fate, the accomplished Iraqi artist is being treated like a terrorist by the U.S., the country where he sought refuge."

Casualties of War: The Hell of War Comes Home

Dave Philipps, The Colorado Springs Gazette: "Before the murders started, Anthony Marquez's mom dialed his sergeant at Fort Carson to warn that her son was poised to kill. It was February 2006, and the 21-year-old soldier had not been the same since being wounded and coming home from Iraq eight months before. He had violent outbursts and thrashing nightmares. He was devouring pain pills and drinking too much. He always packed a gun. 'It was a dangerous combination. I told them he was a walking time bomb,' said his mother, Teresa Hernandez."

Casualties of War: Warning Signs

Dave Philipps, The Colorado Springs Gazette: "After coming home from Iraq, 21-year-old medic Bruce Bastien was driving with his Army buddy Louis Bressler, 24, when they spotted a woman walking to work on a Colorado Springs street. Bressler swerved and hit the woman with the car, according to police, then Bastien jumped out and stabbed her over and over. It was October 2007. A fellow soldier, Kenneth Eastridge, 24, watched it all from the passenger seat."

Verteidigungsminister folgt Logik des Krieges

27. Juli 2009

Voicing fears through drama

Claudia Calleja

Actors mimic the fears of the citizens of Hortiatis Hill who are concerned about the health risks caused by the antennas.

A Greek couple discovered their son had cancer and when the child recovered and they realised it was the result of exposure to radiation of mobile phone antennas they left their home town.

This is not a true story but, the theme of one in a series of short plays that echoed the real concerns of the citizens of Hortiatis Hill, in Thessaloniki, that is at the centre of controversy over health hazards posed by electromagnetic antennas installed on site.

Galea. L (10 hours, 42 minutes ago)

The MCA published the results of tests that it conducts on all such repeaters. However, they only say that the level is well within the established limits and do not give the measured field strength, not do they give the distance at which the measurements were taken and neither whether it is at street level or at rooftop level. What is the level of radiation that the people living next door are being exposed while on the roof? Is any tilt in the radiation pattern used and if so what is the angle? Is it different for different repeaters? What is the maximum power used at the repeaters when all channels are in use? What is the gain of the antennas? Whay is such information being hidden from the public?

Jessica DeBattista (16 hours, 9 minutes ago)

"As for the EU, it has advised governments to protect those living close to transmitters by setting safety provisions."

Please can we have some more information about the harmful effects of such antennas. It is not something to be brushed off as of minor importance. I am truly concerned and would appreciate any body who would exert pressure to have them set up away from inhabited areas.

Some hope in our congested tiny island!!!

But let's do our best.

We are playing with our lives here. Let's do something about it before it is too late!!!!!!!!

Hi Martin,

I sent the following message, hope they post it.

All the best

Your article states that in 2006, the World Health Organisation concluded there was “no convincing scientific evidence” that weak signals from base stations and wireless networks caused adverse health effects. Please take a look at the enclosed pie chart which was taken from the WHO website, this was presented at a workshop at the EU Commission, 10 out of 14 peer-reviewed studies on base stations found significant increases in symptoms and conform to WHO standards of scientific quality.

Plus a new peer reviewed Swiss study by Frei has shown that mobile phone masts exposure resulted in 32% exposure and mobile phones amounted to 29%, Dect cordless phone base stations 23%. This new study is very worrying as it demonstrates mobile phone masts expose the public to more radiation than mobile phones. You can choose to use a mobile, but what do you do if you live near a mast?

An international working group of scientists, researchers and public health policy professionals produced the 2007 BioInitiative report. The report provides detailed scientific information on health impacts when people are exposed to electromagnetic radiation hundreds or even thousands of times below the guidelines. The authors reviewed more than 2000 scientific studies and concluded that the existing public safety limits are inadequate to protect public health.

I suffered for many years with headaches, sleep problems and dizzy spells and was eventually diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 38. I discovered that I was living in a cancer cluster. I was living 100m from a phone mast and now understand that we are not alone as many other cancer clusters have been discovered around phone masts worldwide.

I would recommend the Church ensure that the mobile phone companies indemnify them from any future court actions that may result from the current situation whereby mobile phone masts are located on their property.

Blanker Zynismus der Bundeskanzlerin gegenüber sozial Schwachen. Union will nach der Bundestagswahl Zwangsarbeitsdienst gesetzlich einführen

Artikel von Charles Duremont in der Berliner Umschau vom 20. Juli 2009

“Reset” means obedience

The American Conservative
by Daniel Larison

What may be most remarkable about this is that [Joe Biden’s comment about Russia’s “withering” economy is] not being treated as one of Biden’s legendary gaffes, but rather as an appropriate and acceptable comment. As I was saying earlier this week, the administration must think that Russia’s relatively greater weakness at present will make it more compliant, but I never expected any of its top members to come out and say exactly that. Bizarrely, Biden was offering all of this as evidence in favor of why the ‘reset’ was going to work. In other words, for Biden the ‘reset’ has always meant Russian concessions and submission, and it will ‘work’ because Russia lacks the means to do anything else. This is staggeringly wrong. It seems likely that the ‘reset’ will now blow up in Obama’s face...

ObamaCare: It’s not about money

TCS Daily
by Barry A. Liebling

If the ObamaCare enthusiast believed that total spending on health care would go down if the government refrained from fiddling he would not be impressed. A health care system that is allowed to go its own way, that relies on markets, that is not centrally planned is odious to him. It is worthwhile to spend more money on health care if the result is a system managed by progressives who are looking out for ‘the interests of society as a whole.’ And what is in the mind of the free marketer? He knows that each person owns his life and has a natural right to manage it for himself. He understands that the proper role of government is to protect natural rights — not to direct the lives of individuals. He appreciates that people have the capacity to make intelligent choices, and that when some people act imprudently, it is not a justification for a government takeover. He knows that when government extricates itself from meddling in the health care system the result will be more innovation, better services, and less expensive costs. But it is the importance of freedom, not saving money, that is the essential reason to proscribe government interference...

Obamacare: It’s even worse than you think

The Weekly Standard
by James C. Capretta & Yuval Levin

President Obama’s strategy to pass sweeping health care legislation rested on stealth and speed. The idea was to fill the conversation for months on end with vague talk about expanding coverage, ‘bending the cost-curve,’ improving quality, and rooting out waste, without showing the public how the plan would actually work or what it would cost. Legislation, meanwhile, would be composed behind closed doors, and the bills would be introduced as close as possible to when they might come up for a vote to minimize the time in which they could actually be read and thought about by those who would vote on them and those who would live under them. By the time the details emerged, maybe momentum and being ‘closer than ever before’ would be enough to overcome the torrent of objections that were sure to be raised when people got a real look at the nuts and bolts. That moment has now come... (for publication 08/03/09)

“Fearmongers” were right about Obamacare

Cato Institute
by Michael D. Tanner

The ink was barely dry on President Barack Obama’s signature before the RAND Corp. released a report concluding that, not only would the hard-won health care package fail to curb health insurance premium increases, but the bill itself would drive premiums for young people up as much as 17 percent. This should not have been a surprise: the Congressional Budget Office had already warned that the plan would do almost nothing to reduce premium hikes. And when New York implemented the same type of insurance reforms in the 1980s, it led to an increase of nearly $500 per year for young people. But somehow, the media didn’t pay much attention...
