Budbrooke campaigners halt countryside phone mast plan

Campaigners are celebrating after stopping a phone mast being built in open countryside.
Mobile phone company O2 had hoped to install a 12.5m mast and 1.65m high equipment cabinet in Old Budbrooke Road, opposite Montgomery Avenue, Budbrooke.
But objectors said the mast, next to a tree and backing onto open fields, would spoil the environment.
