Oversight Committee Objects to Withholding of Tillman Documents
The House Oversight Committee said today that Representative Henry Waxman, the committee chairman, and Representative Tom Davis, ranking minority member, sent a letter to the White House asking that withheld documents related to Army Cpl. Patrick Tillman's death be released. In addition, they announced that the committee will hold a hearing on August 1 to investigate what senior officials at the Defense Department knew about Corporal Tillman's death.
