Libby Judge "Perplexed" by Clemency
The judge who sentenced former White House aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby to 30 months in jail made his first public comments on the case today, saying he was "perplexed" by Bush's act of clemency and defending the sentence, which he said followed established legal precedents, Richard B. Schmitt writes in The Los Angeles Times.
