The changes that were made last month to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act were apparently made under false pretenses -- Congresswoman Jane Harman on that, in a moment. First. The Bush administration is tonight fighting to make those changes permanent... seemingly by scaring the Democratic majority into compliance. Hey, it has worked before.
