When I think of all the reasons put forth for going to war in Iraq, I think of the little clown car at the circus. How did the Bush administration and the Pentagon get so many phony reasons out of one little war? Now the number of ways to get out of war in Iraq is approaching clown-car status with the latest report on how the surge is working or not working, depending on whom you talk to. There have been 762 U.S. soldiers killed since the start of the surge. Every political way forward raises more questions as well as casualties...
