Leahy Renews Call for White House Documents
Thomas Ferraro reports for Reuters that Patrick Leahy, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has publicly renewed his call for long-sought White House documents about the administration's domestic spying program and firing of federal prosecutors. They would provide the committee with information needed to prepare for the confirmation hearings for Michael Mukasey, Bush's nomination to replace Alberto Gonzales as chief US law enforcement officer.
