One major point is that there was a distinct alteration in the paper rolls sent to Sequoia for the 2000 election. Employees at the printing plant were used to a totally trouble free product for the punch cards used for over 30 years in elections.
They speculate offer personal reflections on why this may have occurred. What is troubling is that no has thoroughly investigated it.
