Die Treibstoffpreise explodieren, weil die Erdöl-Förderung an der Spitze angelangt ist. Das nährt die Spekulation und treibt den Preis. Die Regierung kann nichts dagegen unternemen. Sobald das Angebot geringfügig weniger wird und die Nachfrage weiter rasant steigt, wird sich Treibstoff weiter verteuern. Erdöl-Lager sind zwar noch vorhanden, deren Ausbeutung wird aber immer teurer.
