FURIOUS RESPONSE TO 14.2M HIGH 'PHONE MAST PLAN
A PLANNING application for a mobile telecommunications mast in Carlogie Road, Carnoustie, has had neighbours reaching for their landline 'phones to complain.
The application has been made by Tyco Electronics UK, 122 Dundyvan Road, Coatbridge, Ml5 1DE on behalf of Vodafone.
The site is adjacent to a bus shelter, just outside the 30 mph speed limit in Carlogie Road.
Mr Roger Geddes, 7 Panbride Road, is appalled that the site for the structure, which would be a total of 14.2 metres high, is not only in very open countryside, but on ground owned by Angus Council according to the application details.
