The Tide Has Turned. Believe It!!
Just when the Roman Empire appeared to be at its peak, it was already in decline and its days were numbered. In exactly the same way, the mobile phone industry seems to be in total control - but it’s not. Public Opinion is alerted, Public Opinion is on the move - and Public Opinion is a force to be reckoned with. Operators and politicians would do well to remember the moving hand that wrote on the wall at King Belshazzar’s great feast:
“You have been weighed in the balance and found wanting. Your kingdom will be divided.”
The writing is on the wall for the phone (& TETRA) operators. Will they have the wisdom and the courage to co-operate with the public to find a better way - a way that benefits everybody - before it’s too late for them?

It’s just a matter of time now before official policy follows commonsense.
