According to an Associated Press story, in a speech on Tuesday presidential aspirant and U.S. Senator Barack Obama overstated the number of persons killed when tornadoes flattened a town in Kansas the other day. ‘Ten thousand people died — an entire town destroyed,’ Obama blurted to the assemblage. … A spokesman later explained that Obama meant to say ‘at least ten,’ not ten thousand. The senator later explained that there ‘are going to be times when I get tired. There are going to be times when I get weary. There are going to be times when I make mistakes.’ It is true.
