Help protect Dolphins and Whales from US NAVY Low Frequency Active Sonar
There were a dozen Dolphins swimming off Baker beach on Saturday Oct 28 not 100 feet off the middle of the beach. Unlike Wed/Thu these dolphins were JUMPING out of the water! Lots of medium size dolphins, one BIG dolphin, and one small young dolphin, also enjoying the jumps in air.
Wed and Thursday Oct 25/26 each saw two pods of dolphins on Baker beach; one group at North end and one group at South end. Only dorsal fins visible, arching out of the water.
This is unusual. Dolphins are not usually here. I have been climbing, swimming, and sunning at Baker Beach since 1989. The water temperature is up, and of course fish stocks are down, thanks to global warming.
