Rumsfeld 's Departure
The editors of the New York Times write: "... we're still waiting for a sign that Mr. Bush has grasped the urgency of the unfolding disaster in Iraq as anything beyond a political problem. Mr. Rumsfeld's departure is merely the first step. It has to be followed by a major change in policy if American troops can be brought home without leaving a disaster behind."
