Exxon Mobil Profit Rises on Soaring Prices
Exxon Mobil Corp., the world's largest publicly traded oil company, on Thursday reported that quarterly profit surged, driven by rising oil prices. Anger over gas prices is gaining traction in many midterm races around the nation as Democrats attack Republicans for being too close to oil companies.

Oil-Spill Victims Turn to Congress
A group of Alaska fishermen are petitioning Congress to force Exxon Mobil to pay $4.5 billion in punitive damages awarded after the Exxon-Valdez oil spill. The effort coincides with Exxon Mobil's release of its quarterly profits statement - the company made $36 billion in profits last year.

I'm writing you this date to present a request that you boycott "Exxon-Mobile" stations and products. As you know they are reaping extraordinary profits and have an abysmal environment record. The current CEO said today that the "American people" will just have to accept the situation and tough it out. Please, take your fuel needs to another oil company. Thank you.
In addition, those of you who are American citizens have primary elections this month. If applicable, please vote and donate your services and/or money to the candidates and party that represent your values. This is a very important election year - maybe the most important "off-year" election in our country's history. Thank you.
Yours in progression,
Larry
