Immune deficiency - Immunodeficiency diseases
Dear Olle: I am in touch with a professional man who lives on the East Coast. He has the "identical rare immune deficiency" as my two grandsons. He is being treated by a Pediatric Immunologist at Yale. Here in Minnesota, the boys' Immunologist also treats adults.
Quite an "irony" that a rare deficiency that is defined by the fact that it indicates "ageing," requires adults to receive treatment from a Pediatric Immunologist!!!! The affected person lives about 75 feet from a 200 kv high voltage powerline. He has not specifically requested confidentiality but right now, it is best his identity remain anonymous.
I have mailed several items to him including information regarding filters. He located me via an Omega post -- further evidence that Klaus's continuing efforts are paying off!!! Take care - Joanne

I will type below an excerpt from the first paragraph titled "Immunodeficiency" of Chapter 18 (page 18.1) from the book "IMMUNOLOGY - Third Edition (1993)," by Ivan Roitt, Jonathan Brostoff and David Male:
"Immunodeficiency disease results from the absence, or failure of normal function, of one or more elements of the immune system. Specific immunodeficiency diseases involve abnormalities of T or B cellsd, the cells of the adaptive immune system. Non-specific immunodeficiency disease involve abnormalities of elements such as complement or phagocytes, which act non-specifically in immunity. Primary immune deficiencies are due to intrinsic defects in cells of the immune system and are for the most part genetically determined. Secondary immunodeficiency diseases result from extrinsic factors, such as drugs, irradiation, malnutrition or infection. Thus AIDS is a secondary immunodeficiency resulting from a virus infection.
Immunodeficiency diseases cause increased susceptibility to infection in patients. The infections encountered in immunodeficient patients fall, broadly speaking into two categories. Patients with defects in immunoglobulins or complement proteins or phagocytes are very susceptible to recurrent infections..........

IT IS VERY OBVIOUS TO ME THAT THE IMMUNOLOGIST OUTRIGHTLY LIED BY THE FACT HE FAILED TO INFORM US THAT GRANDSONS' IMMUNE DEFICIENCIES WERE NOT "PRIMARY" AND ADDITIONALLY BY THE FACT THAT THE BOYS' BLOOD WAS SENT TO A KNOWN EMF RESEARCHER, DR. FATIH UCKUN (UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA. "ENVIRONMENTAL POSSIBILITIES" WERE NEVER MENTIONED AGAIN AFTER I BROUGHT UP SUBJECT OF CONCERNS RE HIGH VOLTAGE POWERLINES!!!
I NEED TO CHECK FOR ANY BOOKS BY THESE AUTHORS AFTER 1993. WILL NOT BE SURPRISED IF UPDATE RE EMF RAPID FINDINGS IS NOT AVAILABLE AND/OR "IN WORKS........" TAKE CARE - JOANNE
