A BAN on putting mobile phone masts on land owned by a Merseyside council could be lifted.
Sefton council is considering a request to lift a moratorium that prohibits mobile telecommunications equipment on its land and buildings.
The argument is that the current rules lead to masts being put up elsewhere – against the wishes of residents and the council.
