Pettigo phone mast fight continues

The outcome on the row over a propose Pettigo phone mast hangs in the balance this week as mobile phone company Vodafone prepare to carry out a suitability test on a site suggested by the town's residents.
The corporation want to erect three antennae on an existing Garda mast just 200 yards away from the town's primary school.
The Pettigo Action Group met again at St Mary's National School last night and were told Vodafone would be carrying out the suitability test this Tuesday.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Pettigo Group Action member Geraldine Britton said the group will not give up their search for alternative sites.
