PHONE MAST PLAN SPARKS PROTEST

A FIRM'S move to put up a mobile phone mast near schools has sparked a protest from residents.
O2 has applied to site the antennae on top of the Mariner Hotel in Aberdeen's Great Western Road.
Residents plan to object to the proposals, claiming they are concerned for health reasons and because the mast would be near both Broomhill and Ashley Road primary schools.
