Wall Street's Lucrative Tax Break Is Under Fire
Jeffrey H. Birnbaum and Lori Montgomery, writing for The Washington Post, report that Congressional lawmakers have plans to tackle a controversial tax break known as the Carry, which allows fund managers' profits to be taxed as capital gains. Paul Krugman writes for The New York Times, "If being a Democrat means anything, it means opposing this kind of exorbitant privilege."
