Animal testing: Your views "Is it right to use animals for medical research or should it be banned?"
Pharmaceutical companies say animal testing is a vital element in developing cures and treatments for disease.
Animal rights activists say it's unnecessary. Some extremists have made threats against companies which test drugs on animals.
Do you think animal testing is acceptable? If you want it banned, how far would you go to stop it? Are you benefiting from a drug developed with the help of animals?
