Call for Worldwide June 6, 2006 "NO ARMAGEDDON FOR BUSH" Rallies
Members of the Washington, DC Antiwar Network http://dawndc.net encourage groups worldwide to join us in holding NO ARMAGEDDON FOR BUSH rallies on June 6, 2006 (6/6/6). Publicity is assured because "666" is the "Mark of the Beast," the biblical evil one who brings about Armageddon. Media already have begun noting both the humorous and the serious aspects of this, including law enforcement concerns about "incidents."
Given President George Bush's own Christian fundamentalist beliefs (see below) and his drive for war against "evil" Iran, including probable use of nuclear weapons, it is particularly appropriate to protest war that day. We encourage peace loving activists and people worldwide to rally in creative, fun and attention getting ways to reject the religious/political views of Bush and his cronies that they represent the "good" which must vanquish "evil" using the most deadly of military force.
DC activists already have planned a rally at 6 PM EST in front of the White House in Washington, DC. Our demands are: End U.S. Global Dominance -- World Nuclear Disarmament Now.

ADDITIONAL INFO ON GEORGE BUSH'S EVANGELICAL VIEWS AND IRAN WAR PLANS
President George Bush became a “born again” Christian under the tutelage of Billy Graham who teaches the expansion of Israel will lead to the return of the anti-Christ (666), the battle of good and evil at Israel’s valley of Armageddon and the return of Christ. Who can believe Bush’s denials he has made statements like: “'I've heard the call. I believe God wants me to run for President." and "I trust God speaks through me. Without that, I couldn't do my job.” and "I'm driven with a mission from God. God would tell me, George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan. And I did, and then God would tell me, George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq…”
Journalist Seymour Hersh wrote in April 2006 that Bush believes only he has the “courage” to bomb and “save” Iran, even if that means through the "nuclear option" against its nuclear facilities. Given Iran's commitment to fighting back against any attack, either conventional or nuclear attacks quickly could spiral into world nuclear war - i.e., armageddon or apocalypse. Just imagine what Russian leaders will feel when they see aircraft and missiles, possibly nuclear armed, approaching just a few hundred miles from Russia's borders. What if lethal radiation from an attack drifts over Russia? Russia still has several thousand nuclear missiles on hair trigger alert pointed at the United States.
