Pentagon Limits Reporter Access to Guantanamo Court
Carol Rosenberg, reporting for The Miami Herald, writes: "A defense lawyer lets slip at the war court convening here that a battlefield commander changed an Afghanistan firefight report in a way that seemed to help a U.S. government murder case. Reporters hear the field commander's name but are forbidden to report it." And, Raymond Bonner reports for The New York Times, "The Bush administration and the British government are at odds over how to treat one of the last two British residents held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, officials from the countries involved in the case and his lawyer say."
