Konjunkturpaket für alle

Die deutsche Wirtschaft ist 2009 so stark geschrumpft, wie noch nie. Dazu erklärt der Bundesgeschäftsführer der Partei DIE LINKE, Dietmar Bartsch:

Die Wirtschaft krankt und die Krise zeigt sich in der Statistik auf erschreckende Weise. Sie beginnt auf dem Arbeitsmarkt anzukommen. Die Wirtschaft schrumpfte in nie dagewesenem Ausmaß. Dieser Einbruch lässt sich nicht nur auf den Rückgang von Exporten schieben, er ist zu einem großen Teil hausgemacht. Die Rezepte der Großen Koalition, und nachfolgend von Schwarz-Gelb, gegen die Krise waren und sind einseitig und gefährlich. Wer Banken über Nacht Milliarden zur Verfügung stellt, sich aber bis heute weigert, einen gesetzlichen Mindestlohn durchzusetzen, hat nicht verstanden, wie wichtig der heimische Markt in Zeiten globaler Krisen ist. Wer Besserverdienenden Chancen eröffnet, immer mehr Geld einfach nur anzulegen und gleichzeitig Millionen Menschen durch ungenügende Maßnahmen am Arbeitsmarkt in Unsicherheit, und damit Kaufzurückhaltung, zwingt, hat nichts begriffen. In der Konsequenz muss das heißen, dass dringend mehr Geld dorthin muss, wo es tatsächlich ausgegeben, in den Konsum gesteckt wird. Die Binnenkaufkraft wird nur gestärkt, wenn Anna und Otto Normalverbraucher mehr in der Tasche haben. Deshalb fordert DIE LINKE einen gesetzlichen und flächendeckenden Mindestlohn von 10 Euro, deutlich erhöhte Regelsätze bei Hartz IV, gute Arbeit, solide Löhne und sichere Rente.

Rupert Murdoch Begins Blocking News Aggregators, Search Engines

New Corp honcho Rupert Murdoch has been known to refer to those running the web as "plagiarists" and "parasites," threatening to remove all of his content from search engines like Google (especially if Bing is willing to pay up). Many wondered if he was bluffing, but now the process seems to have begun, with the Times Online blocking aggregation of its stories.
