Thank you for your comment on the Proposed Land Management Plans for the Kootenai and Idaho Panhandle National Forests. The 90-day comment period for the Proposed Plans has been extended to provide the public more time to review and comment because we understand that these plans were developed under new regulations and that it may take additional time for review. The official comment period now ends September 9, 2006. All comments received will be reviewed and considered before the final Land Management Plans are released, which are anticipated for release in the March of 2007.
