Antennae on office roof spark health fear
A worried pensioner is raising health fears over a planning application submitted to South Bedfordshire District Council for three mobile phone masts on an office rooftop opposite his home.
The application requests three antennae on separate mounts with equipment cabinets and associated works on the roof of Lavells House in Hockliffe Street/Leston Road, but the 72-year-old is concerned about the health effects on people living or working nearby.
The pensioner's home sits only 40 yards away from the site, and when he received notification of the scheme alarm bells started ringing.
