When President Bush originally announced the U.S. invasion of Iraq, he called it O peration I raqi L iberation----OIL. Think that was coincidental? One of the first messages he sent to the Iraqi people at the time was "Do not destroy oil wells." The press and media have downplayed the role oil played regarding the American military engagement in Iraq, but in the expanded addendum....
