Street phone mast plan rejected

A SCHEME to erect a 15-metre (45ft) high phone mast in a residential street have been thrown out by planners.
Members of Westhoughton Town Council used delegated powers and blocked T-Mobile's plans to install a mast in The Hoskers, Westhoughton.
The town councillors said the height of the mast would impinge on the living conditions and outlook of residents.
