Benefits of Flu Vaccination in Elderly People Are Overestimated
"The benefits of vaccinating elderly people against seasonal flu may be overestimated because healthier people tend to get immunized, according to a study published in the International Journal of Epidemiology.
University of Washington researchers found that while vaccination was associated with a 44 percent reduction in the risk of death during the flu season, it was also associated with a 61 percent reduction in the risk of death before the season. (...)"
