Linke beantragt Untersuchungsausschuss wegen Hypo Real Estate

Die Vorgänge um den angeschlagenen Immobilienfinanzierer Hypo Real Estate (HRE) soll nach dem Willen der Linken im Bundestag ein parlamentarisches Nachspiel bekommen. Dazu beantragte die Linksfraktion am Freitag die Einsetzung eines Untersuchungsausschusses. Der Ausschuss soll nach den Worten von Linksfraktionschef Gregor Gysi dem Verdacht nachgehen, ob zum Nachteil der Steuerzahler die Haftungsfrist versäumt und die bayerische HypoVereinsbank geschont worden sei. Die HRE wird von anderen Banken und vor allem vom Bund mit Krediten und Garantien in Höhe von mehr als 100 Milliarden Euro gestützt. Gysi sagte, es liege die "Vermutung" nahe, dass Bundesfinanzminister Peer Steinbrück (SPD) die Haftungsfrist habe verstreichen lassen.

Grundlage der Vermutung ist der kürzlich veröffentlichte zweite bayerische Sozialbericht. "Dieser weist eine vergleichsweise niedrige Lebenserwartung für die Menschen im Landkreis Dillingen aus: Um zwei bis 2,5 Jahre geringer als in anderen ländlich geprägten schwäbischen Landkreisen ist die Lebenserwartung der Dillinger", so Kamm. Möglicherweise bestehe ein Zusammenhang dem Störfall im Atomkraftwerk Gundremmingen vor 32 Jahren. Bei diesem seien radioaktive Emissionen abgegeben worden, die um ein Vielfaches die jährlich zulässigen Emissionen überschritten hätten.

CONCERNED residents turned out for a council cabinet meeting this week to reiterate concerns about telecom masts in their area.

Residents of Gurney Court Road, St Albans, and surrounding streets are worried about the impact of an imminent planning application from O2 to install nine microcells in their area.

And their councillor Salih Gaygusuz accused the cabinet of appearing to have done nothing to resolve their efforts to persuade Herts County Council to take a more robust approach to the siting of telecoms masts and equipment in the district.

The cabinet is pressing the county to consider new guidelines for the positioning of masts on their land to give the district council more leverage at planning appeals.

Although county has a procedure in place for considering requests to put telecoms equipment on its land, it does not set out any specific criteria on which applications would be rejected.

That is in contrast to other authorities, such as Milton Keynes, which has a policy that it will not normally permit equipment on its land within 50 metres of residential properties, nurseries, playgroups, school grounds or medical facilities.

Landesregierung von Rio Grande schliesst alle MST-Schulen - die Saat von Stora Enso geht auf.

Etwa 200.000 Kinder besuchen die Schulen, die die Landlosenbewegung MST in dem brasilianischen Bundesland eingerichtet hat, wo die Bewegung entstand - Rio Grande Sul (dessen Hauptstadt Porto Alegre mit dem WSF weltbekannt wurde). Diese Schulen, die sich an der Pädagogik Paulo Freires orientieren, statt Selektion im Kindesalter zu betreiben, haben Anerkennung und Preise von der UNICEF und diversen Lehrervereinigungen erhalten, werden in Kooperation mit Lehrergewerkschaften betrieben. Die Sachlage: MST steht seit längerem in Konfrontation mit mehreren transnationalen Konzernen, wie dem berüchtigten Monsantokonzern auf der einen Seite, dem finnischen Zellulose-Konzern Stora Enso auf der anderen Seite. Und letzterer gehört zu den Sponsoren der Gouverneurin Yeda, eine der Hoffnungsträgerinnen der modernisierten brasilianischen Rechten. Die MST stört die Geschäfte - auf neubrasilianisch heisst dies auch "gefährdet Arbeitsplätze", ganz wie im deutschen Politsprech und auch dort gibt es Gewerkschafter im Wachstumswahn, die solcherart Positionen teilen - und in den Schulen werden "Terroristen und Marginalisierte" erzogen, wie ein Sprecher des Landes-Schulministeriums kundgab, der gleich das WSF auch noch mit einbezog in die Attacke.
