Having not been a student of Shakespeare, I was rather surprised to find relevance of one of his soliloquies to modern day America. It may be, for all I know, that all are in some way or another but the start of the fourth (4th) soliloquy in Act Three, Scene One of Hamlet for sure is appropriate. To be, or not to be, that is the question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune Or to take arms against a sea of troubles And by opposing end them.
