Mobile phone mast 'will spoil' the look of our lovely street

PLANS for a 12-metre phone mast are being fought by residents who fear it will spoil the look of their area.
Families living in Trentham say they believe the masts could also have health implications and are objecting to the plans submitted by Vodafone.
The company wants to install the mast in Stone Road.
Vodafone specialists say they need the mast to improve the 3G coverage to supply broadband to customers in the area, but residents in the street do not agree.
Mother-of-one Lisa Harvey, aged 34, said: "Cosmetically this mast will look awful and will not be a nice view for people living here.
"I am also very concerned about the health implications of these masts.
"I have a young child and I do not want a phone mast right outside my house. There have been a lot of unclear health research results about these masts, so I don't trust them.
