The Karnataka government has proposed a ban on the use of cell phones in schools. This follows a clarification last week by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology that reports on the same were “factually incorrect” and there were no such considerations.

Families, clubbers, and pub goers face a fight if they want to stop mobile phone antennae being added to an office block in the heart of the city's clubland.

Telecommunications giant Vodafone has applied to Norwich City Council for permission to install six antennae and four dishes to the Grosvenor House on Prince of Wales Road.

A "STEALTH" mobile phone mast on the roof of a church near a school is set to be given the go-ahead despite scores of protests.

Inverleith Parish Church is expected to have its bid to install the mast disguised as a flagpole on its tower approved this week, after phone giant T-Mobile said the installation would pose no health risks to the community.
