USA Pediatricians Refuse To Promote Unsafe Swine Flu Vaccines

Another Child Given Swine Flu Vaccine Without Consent

Health authorities flagrantly disregarding refusal of consent in pursuit of mass vaccination mandate

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet.com
Thursday, October 29, 2009

A boy in Ohio has received the swine flu vaccine despite the fact that his mother clearly refused consent for her child to be inoculated, in another example of how health authorities are blatantly disregarding the wishes of parents in the pursuit of a mass vaccination mandate.

Investigating the Mortgage Crisis

http://www.commondreams.org/view/2009/10/29-0

--------

Attempt to Push Transparency for Mortgage Modifications Falls Short

Paul Kiel, ProPublica: "For months, housing advocates have complained that mortgage servicers are wrongfully denying homeowners' applications for the administration's $50 billion mortgage modification program. Last week, the Treasury Department took a step to address those concerns: For the first time, it issued guidelines requiring mortgage servicers to give homeowners details about why they've been denied. But the required disclosure will only be partial, and housing advocates say that means servicers' denials of loan modifications will still be shrouded in secrecy and protected from scrutiny."

No one else will stop the killing

Information Clearinghouse
by Mike Ferner

10/28/09

In a statement directed to the U.S. House of Representatives, President Obama and its membership, Veterans For Peace urged its chapters to demonstrate opposition to the war in Afghanistan and Pakistan …. no one — NO one, but us is going to stop the killing; neither the President nor the Congress. We can beseech them, ask them, demand from them that they stop the killing and bring all the troops home. But until we exert the power of massive resistance to the Empire that only we can exert, it will keep rolling over Afghanis, Iraqis, Pakistanis and whoever else that is in its way...

Guantanamo laureate

National Review
by Victor Davis Hanson

10/28/09

Candidate Obama often sounded as if he had always assumed that Bush first created Guantanamo as a monument to his Constitution-shredding paranoia, and only later filled it with largely innocent prisoners. At one point Obama offered his Senate office to help lawyers sue on behalf of Guantanamo prisoners. But as President Obama has discovered — just as he has dropped his campaign talk of ending renditions, tribunals, wiretaps, and intercepts, and of rapidly withdrawing from Iraq — Guantanamo is a bad choice among a number of worse ones...

Obama's Real Death Panels

By Ted Rall

No one man--not even a young, handsome, likeable one--should be able to have anyone he wants whacked. Even in dictatorships, the right of life and death is reserved for judges and juries operating under a system purportedly designed to support impartiality and a search for the truth.

Continued incarceration of the innocent

Future of Freedom Foundation
by Andy Worthington

10/28/09

After railing against Senators and Representatives for their cowardly, uninformed, and unacceptable attempts to prevent President Obama from bringing any Guantanamo prisoner to the U.S. mainland for any reason — even for trials — which I wrote about most recently in an article entitled ‘Dick Cheney’s Pawns On Guantanamo,’ I’m delighted to report that, last Tuesday, the Senate finally saw sense, voting, 79 to 19, as part of a $42.8 billion bill for Homeland Security, to accept that the administration can bring prisoners to the U.S. mainland to face trials...

The myth of too big to fail

The American Prospect
by Tim Fernholz

10/28/09

Amid last fall’s financial chaos, executives from Wachovia, at the time the fourth-largest commercial bank in the country, had bad news for their regulators: They were broke. Federal officials deliberated and decided Wachovia was so important to the economy that the government had to save it. It was only the latest in a series of financial institutions that regulators had deemed ‘too big to fail.’ In the preceding months, the government had bailed out Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Bear Stearns, and Congress had passed the controversial $700 billion bill to fund yet more financial-sector rescues. Some of the institutions, like the insurance company American International Group (AIG), weren’t even banks...

Obama still doesn’t grasp blowback

AntiWar.Com
by Ivan Eland

10/28/09

Although President Barack Obama has more empathy for the opinions of the Islamic world than his predecessor and seems to vaguely understand that they do affect U.S. security, he doesn’t seem to understand specifically that U.S. meddling in and occupation of Muslim countries inflames Islamic radicals and is the main cause of blowback anti-U.S. Islamist terrorism. In Afghanistan, Obama has already thrown in more troops and will probably be goaded by the military and conservatives into further escalation. This despite a timeline that appears to indicate that the insurgency grows as a reaction to increased foreign presence in the country...

Seven in 10 say Palin unqualified to be president

CNN

10/28/09

More than seven in 10 Americans think Sarah Palin is not qualified to be president, according to a new national poll. Seventy-one percent of those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Wednesday morning believe the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee is not qualified to be president, with 29 percent saying she does have the credentials to serve in the White House. Republicans appear split, with 52 percent saying she’s qualified and 47 percent disagreeing with that view...
