A draft bill in the US senate will give President broad powers in the event of a ‘cybersecurity emergency.’ An earlier draft of the bill, which explicitly allowed the White House to disconnect private computers and networks when deemed necessary, was widely criticized. Instead of granting precise powers, the new proposal from Jay Rockefeller (D-W.V.) would give the President the power to do whatever he deems necessary to ‘direct the national response to the cyber threat’ whenever he ‘finds it necessary for the national defense and security.’ This would presumably include the disconnection of suspicious users and vulnerable targets, with no clear guidelines on when this is appropriate. The emergency powers seem to be restricted to ‘cybersecurity threats’ to ‘critical private networks.’ While preventing malicious attacks on important networks is a worthy goal, the emergency powers remain deeply troubling...

bitte geben Sie die Links an Frau Hahn weiter. Wie sie sehen benötigt man KEINEN Funk DSL Ausbau!! diese Technik ist bereits über Satellit in verschiedenen Versionen möglich - kostet allerdings den Nutzer die einmaligen Anschaffungskosten ca. 600€. aber das ist zumutbar, da er ja sonst bereits alle Vorteile genießt (z.B. billige Grundstückspreise, Standort im "Grünen", ...) Ich habe meine Telefonanlage mit DSL auch selbst bezahlen müssen - Ohne Zuschüsse. Aus diesem Grunde empfinde ich es als maßlose Steuerverschwendung Fragebogen zur Abfrage nach DSL-Wünschen zu generieren und die "manpower" für deren Auswertung aus Steuermitteln zu finanzieren.

Von 2003 bis 2006 nahm in Frankreich die Zahl derjenigen, die trotz Erwerbsarbeit arm waren rapide zu - es handelt sich also nicht um eine deutsche Sololeistung, sondern um eine Erscheinung des modernen Kapitalismus. Insgesamt lebten 7,8 Millionen Menschen mit einem Einkommen, das unter 60% des Durchschnittseinkommens lag - die europäische Armutsdefinition. Das waren 800.000 mehr als drei Jahre zuvor. Aber beinahe schon die Hälfte all dieser Menschen, nämlich rund 3,6 Millionen - oder 500.000 Menschen mehr als 2003 - leben weder in Rente, noch erwerbslos, noch in Einelternfamilien: Sie haben Arbeitseinkommen, die zu gering sind, um damit leben zu können (offiziell: weniger als 1800 Euros für eine vierköpfige Familie). Zwei Branchen ragen dabei heraus, was den Anteil der Hungerlöhne betrifft: Die Gastronomie und eben die personenbezogenen Dienstleistungen. Mögen die Kriterien auch extrem fragwürdig sein, ein Bild ergibt sich dennoch. In beiden Branchen ist es inzwischen nahezu jeder fünfte Beschäftigte, der trotz Arbeit arm ist: und dass dies eine neuere Entwicklung ist, zeigt sich auch daran, dass 49% der arbeitenden Armen unter 30 Jahre alt ist.
