CONTROVERSIAL plans for a mobile telephone mast in a Suffolk village were withdrawn just before a decision was due to be made.
Nearly 200 campaigners wanted Suffolk Coastal District Council to refuse permission for O2 to erect a mast on land off Valley Farm Road, Melton, near Woodbridge.
